LRFC '97 Girls - U13 Girls Gold Superclubs Champions
Congratulations to the LRFC '97 Girls and their Coach Nick Sherwood who were Champions in the U13 Girls Gold division at Superclubs this past weekend. The 97 Girls had a win and two ties in pool play to advance to the finals. In the finals they beat TN Rush Nike 3-0 to win the championship.

LRFC KickChicks - U10 Girls Finalist at LRFC Rock Soccer Challenge
Congratulations to the LRFC KickChicks and Coaches Chris Hopper and Dana Sahd for finishing as the Finalist in the U10 division of the Rock Soccer Challenge last month.

LRFC Summer 3v3 Soccer Registration is Open
Registration for the 3v3 Summer Soccer League opens today. The registration deadline is May 17. Information about 3v3 soccer can be found by selecting 3v3 Summer League on the menu to your left.

LRFC North Classic Tryout Dates Announced
LRFC Director of Coaching, Nick Sherwood, announced today the Classic tryout dates for the LRFC North program. LRFC North tryout information can be found by selecting LRFC North Soccer on the menu to your left.

LRFC '98 Girls Ngundue - U12 Girls 11v11 Degree Ozark Cup Finalist
Congratulations to the LRFC '98 Girls and their Coach Andrew Ngundue who were Finalist in the U12 11v11 Division of the Degree Ozark Cup. Coach Andrew's girls won all 3 pool games without giving up a goal to make it to the finals. In the finals they tied the Comets 0-0 and lost on PKs 3-2.

LRFC '98 Girls Friday - U12 Girls 8v8 Degree Ozark Cup Finalist
Congratulations to the LRFC '98 Girls and their Coach Rick Friday who were Finalist in the U12 8v8 Division of the Degree Ozark Cup. Coach Rick's girls won all 3 pool games to make it to the finals. In the finals they tied the Comets 1-1 and lost on PKs 4-3.

2010 Summer Camp Dates Announced
LRFC DOC Nick Sherwood and his coaching staff will be hosting several camps this summer. There are camps for all ages and all skill levels. The camp brochure and information can be found on the LRFC Camps page.

2010 Spring Break Camp Dates Announced
The 2010 Spring Break Camp will be at the Riverdale Soccer Fields on March 22 - 25. There will be a Mini Kicker Camp for U4 - U6 players that will run from 9:00 - 10:30 each morning. There will be a Challenge Camp for U7 - U18 players that will run from 9:00 - 11:00 each day. Registration forms can be found on the LRFC Camps page.

CASL Scheduling Meeting for Classic Teams has been Rescheduled
The Classic CASL scheduling meeting has been rescheduled. It will now be on Monday, February 15 at 6PM at The Summit Church.

Meeting for Spring Recreational Soccer Coaches has been Canceled
Tonight's meeting for Recreational Soccer Coaches has been canceled due to the weather. Coaches please keep your eye on your email for information about the upcoming soccer season.

Spring Recreational Soccer Registration Deadline Extended
Registration for the Spring 2010 Recreational Soccer season has been extended until Sunday, February 7. The season begins play in March.

Spring Recreational Soccer Registration is Open
Registration for the Spring 2010 Recreational Soccer season is now open for both Little Rock and LRFC North players. Deadline to register is January 31. The season begins play in March.

Wednesday Night Open Play for U9-U10 Recreational and U11-U14 Classic Players - December 2, 9, and 16
U9-U10 Recreational players and U11 - U14 Classic players can come to Murray Park on December 2, 9, and 16 for open play. Each session will be from 4:45 - 6:00. No cost.

Drop and Shop Camp - Christmas Soccer Skills
Julian Owen, LRFC Director of Coaching, will be hosting the 3rd Annual Drop and Shop Camp. This camp is open to both Recreational and Classic players ages 4 - 14. The camp will be from 10:00 - 12:00 on Monday - Tuesday, December 21-22. The camp will be in the gym at Catholic High School. Cost is $40. LRFC North 97 Boys U13 Platinum Division Finalist at GIT
Congratulations to the LRFC North 97 Boys on their 2nd place finish in the Platinum Division of the Germantown Invitational Tournament. On their way to the finals the team defeated St. Louis Scott Gallagher Premier Green 4-2, Atlanta FC Elite 1-0, and Mississippi Fire White 2-0. In the finals LRFC North battled through 60 minutes of regulation and 20 minutes of overtime, but came up a bit short losing 4-3. Great effort guys, LRFC is proud of you! .

LRFC 97 Girls U13 Champions at Wolf River Classic
Congratulations to Coach Nick Sherwood and the 97 Girls for being champions in the U13 Girls Gold division at this past weekend's Wolf River Classic in Memphis.

Kaoru Forbess (89 Boys) Playing on Fox Soccer Channel NCAA Game of the Week
Kaoru Forbess (So. Univ of Maryland/LRFC '89) will be playing on Fox Soccer Channel, NCAA Game of the Week, Friday, Sept 25th 7pm CT in a rematch of last year's NCAA National Championship game between North Carolina (#1) and Maryland (#4). The game will be live from Ludwig field on the UM campus.

Will Hastings (96 Boys) Chosen to Participate in Interregional Event in Orlando
Will Hastings (LRFC 96 Boys) has been chosen from the Region III pool play group to participate in an interregional event at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida during the week of Thanksgiving. Teams from all four U.S. regions will be competing. US National Team coaches will be attending this event to select the top players for National Team participation in further events. Region III coaches will be selecting players to attend the foreign trip scheduled for this spring.
